MAPS

The Ordnance Survey 1:25 000  map is not particularly useful. It does not even mark the peaks accurately. Surprisingly the 1:50 000 map is better in this respect.

By far the most useful and most accruate map is the Harvey's map of The Cuillin (see right). The peaks and other landmarks are clearly shown on the 1:12 500 map of the ridge and appear to be marked accurately.
